Night at the Museum

YFLO Kolkata was thrilled to collaborate with The Indian Museum Kolkata and the Ministry of Culture, Government of India to curate an event like never before. A one of a kind experience, members of The Arts Club were thrilled with an adrenaline filled adventure around The Indian Museum Kolkata with “Night at the Museum”. 75 members, with 10 teams, engaged in a scavenger hunt throughout the various galleries of the museum by solving clues and riddles to locate the invaluable pieces – from dinosaur eggs, to deciphering hieroglyphics, to decoding paintings and even solving a maze! The whole idea was to engage members and showcase the incredible history and art in our city.

Members engaged in art and culture, immersed in the historical beauty of Asia’s oldest and India’s largest museum! With the rain gods being kind, the weather was pleasant post the heat wave. Members were refreshed with watermelon and sugarcane cold-pressed juices by The Yellow Straw and an incredible array of high-tea boxes filled with scrumptious canapes like croissants, wraps, tea cakes and more by Bunosilo Estate Coffee Roasters. The winning teams – Onyx Operatives, Ivory Inspectors and Indigo Investigators and Ruby Raiders were delighted to receive beautiful prizes by Runway Hit, which girl doesn’t love a lovely pair of earrings? All in all a win for all as everyone went home filled with a brain workout and a physical workout with a side of cultural experience like never before.
