In a well attended (210 members) Curtain Raiser event for ‘24-25, the new Chairperson Ar. Vibha Jain Sethi, assumed charge of FLO Indore in its 10th Anniversary year after the IPC Ms Mamta Bakliwal adorned her with the FLO Indore Regalia, and presented her Team, ‘The Trailblazers’ for the year.
The event saw the presence of IPC FLO Bengaluru, Ms Revathi Raju and acclaimed fashion designer Ms Kaveri Lalchand.
An entire blueprint for the year was presented by the Chairperson to the floor, with explanations for each Initiative and Undertaking. Initiative booths were put up at the venue so that the members may sign up directly for any as per their interest.
Chairperson Vibha promised to uphold the values of FLO Indore established by her predecessors, and promised to fulfill her duties to the best of her capabilities. In an innovative, interactive fun engagement with the members, Vibha presented her plan for the year.
The main Initiatives presented at this event were- MSME, Textiles, IIM Bengaluru, Skilling Squad- Swavlamban, Rural Livelihood & Skilling Squad. A new vertical was introduced by the Chair for this year- Happy Wallets. Under this, FLOpreneurs can promote their enterprises amongst the FLO community by offering special discounts to them.
A wonderful opportunity this year for FLO Indore is a collaboration with IIM Bengaluru for an Entrepreneurial course at their Institute.
As per the Chairperson’s theme of ‘Breaking Stereotypes’, the event started with a drumming performance by Srishti Patidar- the world record female drummer in India.
The new Team also hosted an ice breaking net working activity to foster friendship and build a sense of community amongst the members.
