Panel Discussion on “Women Mean Business”

The panel discussion on “Women Mean Business,” organized by the FICCI Startup Committee in collaboration with FICCI FLO and IIT Delhi, was held on April 24, 2024, at the Aryabhata Auditorium, R&I Park, FITT, IIT Delhi Campus. The event aimed to highlight the significant role of women entrepreneurs in shaping the business landscape and to provide valuable insights into their challenges, triumphs, and opportunities.

The session began with a welcome address by Rohit Bansal, Chairman FICCI Start Up Committee, followed by a special address by Ms. Joyshree Das Verma, President of FICCI FLO. She emphasized the importance of women in business and their contribution to the economy.

The panelists, including Ms. Ghazal Alagh (Co-Chair, FICCI Startup Committee & Co-founder Mamaearth), Ms. Rashi Narang (Founder, Heads Up For Tails), and Dr. Aarti Gupta (CIO, Anikarth Ventures and National Head FICCI FLO Startup Cell), shared their experiences and insights, highlighting the diverse paths to success in entrepreneurship.
Moderated by Ms. Ragini Das (Co-Founder Leap.Club), the discussion touched upon various topics, including the impact of gender diversity on business outcomes, strategies for overcoming challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, and the importance of mentorship and networking.

The event provided a platform for attendees to gain inspiration and knowledge from accomplished leaders in the field. It also underscored the commitment of FICCI, FLO and its partners to support and empower women entrepreneurs, fostering a more inclusive and dynamic business ecosystem.
