MindShare Orientation

A talk on The Power of Storytelling by TEDx Hyderabad Curator & Advisor Viiveck Varma served as the perfect curtain raiser for the Orientation of FLO/YFLO Hyderabad’s public speaking training program, MindShare – A Creative Narrative Platform.

MindShare is a joint initiative by FLO and YFLO Hyderabad to enable member-participants to become more effective storytellers and public speakers, facilitating their personal, entrepreneurial, and professional growth. This endeavor aligns perfectly with FLO’s dedication to fostering leadership skills and cultivating confident professionals.

In his talk, Viiveck emphasized the potency of storytelling, urging participants to draw from childhood memories, life experiences, or anecdotes with personal significance, employing creativity and imagination. Storytelling, he asserted, is the art of captivating minds through narratives to convey messages or spur action. MindShare aims to equip participants with the skills to deliver compelling stories, utilizing effective narration, voice modulation, imagery, and body language.

Scheduled to span over 12 weeks, the orientation held via Zoom on April 13th saw 82 participants who grasped the process and engaged with the Mentor, posing relevant questions. The Google Form for the program registration was circulated following the Orientation, and the entries are already pouring in.
