Skilling and Selling: Paper Bags Project by Neuro Diverse

FLO LUDHIANA Social Welfare Inclusive Wing under the leadership of Chairperson, Ankita Gupta & Head Aman Sandhu initiated a Skilling & Selling project with Ashirwad- Institute of Cerebral Palsy in sync with “Say no to plastic drive “started by the District Administration Ludhiana whereby youth with cerebral palsy & similar disabilities made paper tote bags with major skilling help from FICCI members .

Aakriti and Anushka, famous city bloggers of A & A fame contributed a major chunk by buying these bags in bulk and providing to all their exhibitors at the HOL exhibition.
Since, single use of plastic is now banned, it is a moral and ethical responsibility to start using alternate bags either of paper or cloth.

The teams of Ashirwad & FICCI FLO visited HOL Exhibition by Aakriti & Anushka on the 5th of April, 11 am at Hotel Maharaja Regency, for the distribution drive.

The drive was led by Chapter Founder Mrs Rajni Bector and Chairperson Mrs Ankita Gupta. Aakriti and Anoushka were presented with a beautiful painting prepared by a neuro diverse young boy, Bisman and also the blogger duo personally took us around to each stall to distribute the bags handmade by the disabled youth and explain the “Say no to single use plastic” concept. It was a full completion of the circle of ‘Skilling and Selling’ !
