Leading Innovation

As Steve Jobs said, “Innovation is the only way to win.” In line with the National Startup Initiative, YFLO Delhi, put together a panel of young and accomplished entrepreneurs who have carved a niche for themselves with courage and initiative – to think outside the box, disrupt and create something new. Our speakers consisted of Shraddha Bhansali, Co-founder & COO of EVO Foods who shared her reasons and how she came to create Asia’s first 100% plant-based egg. Darshan Shah co-founded NewsReach, one of the leading sponsored content marketplace in the industry. He shared his experience of building a sustainable business for lakhs of vernacular local content publications in India. The panel also included DeepitPurkayastha, Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Inshorts, a public app providing readers with quick summaries of news stories within 60 words. Being a disruptor for all the big news channels, Deepit spoke about leading innovation. Finally, Karina Aggarwal, Founder-Director of Gigglewater Beverage Concepts Pvt. Ltd. & Vice President at India Craft Spirit Co spoke about her experience as a woman navigating the Alchobev industry and facing stereotypes.

Moderated by Committee member Tania Nijhawan, she asked the panel to shed light on their distinct entrepreneurial journeys-from ideation to funding and scaling up their dream projects. We gained insights into challenges faced and how they navigated their business in their respective industries. They left our members with pearls of wisdom from their own experience and valuable advice for entrepreneurs looking to start-up and scale up their businesses.
