Under the Financial Literacy initiative, the second session, Equity 101: Building Wealth, was curated for beginners. The speaker Ms Neha explained.

• What is Equity and Why should we invest in ?
• Brief overview of stock and the key terms.
• Index, market capitalization and the approach to choose them was discussed with a live example of current trending stocks.

A quick run through on what impacts the share prices and what are the pros and cons of various equity products such as mutual funds, ETFs, Smallcase and Direct stocks was done. The session ended with Neha answering all the queries by members. Around 100 members attended the session.
