Outreach To Ngo ‘Anjana’ For Development Of Model Villages

FICCI FLO reached out and collaborated with an NGO ‘Anjana’ to develop and work towards setting up of model villages in the region by initiating various activities for the upliftment of these villages. FLO bonded with the bereaved family of Late Harman Kaur Anand, a 24 year old girl, who died tragically in a road accident and was running the NGO. Her organization worked in the remote rural and slum areas for educating the children and providing them opportunities to learn and grow. FLO held a prayer meet for Harman in the FLO adopted park which was attended by all the members, Harman’s family, Sikh community and the Sarpanchs of villages for which her NGO had worked. All members and the Sikh community contributed a substantial amount to the cause for the various initiatives planned. Kr. Ritu Singh promised to adopt the Channi slum in collaboration with the NGO Anjana and turn it into a model slum as well.
