Unleashing Growth: Creating Startups, Generating Jobs & Empowering Women Enterprises at MIET, Jammu

FICCI FLO JK&L Startup Cell collaborated with Campus Dunia & Model Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET) (Autonomous) for an awareness session on Unleashing Growth: Creating Startups, Generating Jobs & Empowering Women Enterprises. The event was organized for 250+ faculty & students of MIET & IIT, Jammu. The speakers spoke about getting started on the entrepreneurial journey from a student’s perspective, the challenges faced by student startups & importance of incubators & accelerators in providing mentoring & support. Funding opportunities for student startups & Government schemes for entrepreneurial support were also discussed. The students interacted with the speakers & it was exciting to see the buzz around the startup ecosystem. FICCI FLO JK&L was well represented by senior women business leaders & a presentation was made on FLO’s support for women entrepreneurship.
