Secrets, Science, Stories -Reimagining Indian Mythology with Mr. Christopher C. Doyle , Best Selling Author & CEO Coach

Secrets, Science and Stories on Mythology were narrated by Bestselling Author Christopher Doyle at a session organised by FLO Hyderabad at Taj Deccan. The Author transported the Audience into a fascinating world where ancient secrets buried in legends amalgamates with science and history, by weaving thriller stories.

Welcoming the Speaker Mr. Christopher Doyle, Chairperson Ms. Uma Chigurupati, expressed her curiosity about the secrets of the Indian Mythology. Ms.Uma Chigurupati also congratulated and appreciated Mr. Doyle’s initiative “The Quest Club” which was started with an aim to engage and encourage readers. Hon. Secretary FLO, Ms. Radhika Agarwal, introduced the speaker Mr. Christopher Doyle, as Bestselling Author of The Mahabharata Secrets, The Mahabharata Quest Series, The Pataala Prophecy to name a few,  Passionate Musician and a Professional CEO Coach.

In his talk Mr. Doyle, hoped that members not only find the session interesting, but it would also serve as food for thought. He started the session with facts from Mahabharat where he first clarified the long-propagated myth that there were “Nuclear weapons in the Mahabharat” was in fact a myth.

Mr. Doyle then embarked on a journey around the world, starting from France to the Great Pyramids of Egypt to the Temple of Jupiter in Lebanon to the ancient Stonehenge in the United Kingdom finally landing in Gobekli Tepe in Turkey. He transported the audience back in time with visuals of the great architectural marvels to show the astonishing feats of knowledge be it in engineering, architecture, astronomy, or mathematics which the ancient civilizations must have possessed to have been able to build at that scale.

Bringing the audience closer to home, Mr. Doyle gave examples from the Mahabharat, which articulated mathematical concepts such as the “Pythagoras Theorem”, the “Square root of 2” and modern physics concepts. He narrated the story of King Drupada’s son Shikandi and explained using a rare genetic condition called Male Pseudohermaphroditism.

Finally, Mr. Doyle left the audience with the question “What if there is science behind a lot of what we read?”

It was a captivating and intriguing session which not only enlightened the 150 plus audience about the many unknowns but also took them on a journey through space and time connecting the dots in a very systematic and scientific manner.
