Interaction with Ms. Vinita Bali  on INNOVATIVE LEADERSHIP & SOCIAL CHANGE

FLO organised an interactive session with Ms Vinita Bali, Former Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Britannia Industries Ltd., and Former Vice President, The Coca-Cola Company, Ms Bali now is a Strategic Adviser and Independent Director.  Ms. Vinita Bali spoke about her journey and shared her thoughts on Leadership and Innovative Change. Aabha Bakaya, Founder of Ladies Who Lead moderated the session.

“Leadership is about making the right choices. Leadership is about being inclusive. Leadership is about character, especially how you behave during difficult time.” said Ms Vinita Bali. She also focussed on empathy as one of the most crucial aspects of leadership.

Talking about the challenges during the pandemic time, she highlighted that it is important for leaders to be connected with the world around and take into considerations that has been affecting the people around. “Doing the right thing, at the right time and in the right way is crucial in handling crises,” said Ms Bali.
