ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR CRAFTPERSONS

An EDP an jute craft and weaving of Assam was organized with the support of Asian Development Bank at the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Guwahati. Then programme lasted for 5 days from 17th June – 21th  June 2008, 30 women participated from Greater Guwahati at IE and the faculty comprised of RGVN, NIE, NEDFI, IIBM, DIC, MSME. The programme was inaugurated by K. Ahmed, Director IIE. Mrs. Anjana Sonami, Secretary for Craft Council, Delhi and past president of FLO, Mr. Bappaditya Biswas designer from Kolkata were present to give a few words of encouragement to the participants. At the end of the 5 days programme Dr. Amiya Sharma, Ex-Dir. RGVN gave away the certificates to the participants.
