Workshop on Solar Cooking and Sustainable Growth

Indore Chapter stated the year by organizing a workshop on Solar Cooking and Sustainable Growth at Barli Development Centre, Indore. Families of police constables were taught the use of solar cookers and the products that can be dried in the sun and used further. About 50 women attended the workshop, followed by solar lunch and handouts are given to them for the drying of fruits and vegetables. Dr. Saumya Kapoor, spouse of Police Commissioner Varun Kapoor graced the event. The takeaway for the event was sustainable living and utilizing natural resources.
