FLO Pune chapter continues their support to 100 Widowed women in Osmanabad

FLO Pune chapter with the collaboration of Paryay social organisation, Animal Husbandry Department and Krushi vidyan kendra (KVK) organized 2 day’s training for 100 widow women farmers.

Topics covered :
• Crop management and using of fertilizer, management of the farm, seed process, using seeds with best practices, pesticides management and to motivate them to start agri based business, vegetable production in the summer season
• Dairy business
• Economical poultry practices
• General practices in goat farming
• Networking for the marketing of products
• Animal Husbandry support and schemes offered by government departments.

KVK team explained all women and guided them for future plan in agriculture practices
The FICCI team met CEO Dr Sanjay Kolte and discussed about Goat farming project and BEE Project. He will be liaising with the concerned departments and revert with the possible opportunities available to these ladies.
