IIM-Bangalore: Leadership residential program

When the Indian Institute of Management, (IIM) Bangalore curates a special 3 days Leadership residential program for the ladies of FLO – there are no guesses of how prolific it would be!

The camaraderie and bond that 17 FLO members from various cities across the country (with 9 of us from FLO Bangalore) shared in 72 hours felt like we knew each other from time beyond and that we were doing a 2 year PG course instead of a short executive one!

The learnings were indeed augmented because the stellar professors enriched us with knowledge on Strategic Thinking, Transformational Leadership, Disruptions in Business, Financial Acumen and made us understand Macroeconomics and Artificial intelligence with such ease! The diverse background of each of us enhanced intellectual stimulation and learning. And though the classes were from 9 am to 9 pm and beyond – we were enthralled with each of the session and requested the Professors to extend even more!

‘Tejasvi Navadhitamastu’ is the motto of the coveted institute and indeed we were resplendent with the light of knowledge!

But what was even more beautiful was that we went beyond the motto as we basked in friendship and a lot of laughter throughout! We ended the last evening with a delightful time at ‘URU’ – a nearby brewery! And of course what happened at Uru stays at URU!!

All in all, the Leadership Executive program was a huge success that we are already thinking of version 2.0!
