Smt Meenakshi Lekhi was a guest speaker at Hyderabad FLO on 1 Oct 2019. She is not only a powerful speaker but someone who has paved way on her own might -as a Supreme Court lawyer -as a reformist as an integral part of the drafting committees on various bills .

Ms. Meenakshi Lekhi is an Indian politician belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and is a Member of Parliament from New Delhi constituency in the 16th Lok Sabha. She is the national spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party and a Supreme Court of India lawyer.

On the committees of the Women’s Reservation Bill and Problem of Sexual Harassment at Workplace bill, Meenakshi Lekhi took part in the most number of debates in the 16th Lok Sabha. Meenakshi has asked 437 questions.

She spoke on her journey into becoming a lawyer and a politician. She spoke about article 370 and triple talak. On women’s role in politics in the country, the BJP leader said, their participation at grassroot level such as panchayats and municipalities were higher when compared to other nations. To Flo women she addressed that if you want to join politics join in any political party first’.
