Trade & Investment Opportunities for women in China

A very interesting and exclusive session was hosted by the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi for the members of FLO & YFLO, on Trade & Investment Opportunities for women in China.

This was the first programme under the aegis of the Embassy Exchange Programme, initiated by FLO President Harjinder Kaur Talwar. The objective of this session was to create more business and partnership opportunities for women entrepreneurs in India and China.

His Excellency H.E. Luo Zhaohui, Ambassador of China to India addressed the session and said that the economic and trade cooperation is one of the most important contents of China- India bilateral relations. He further stated that the achievement of the good vision of entrepreneurship development requires the participation of entrepreneurs from both sides.

Dr Jiang Yili, spouse of the Ambassador highlighted the importance of the women entrepreneurs in the bilateral trade scenario and encouraged further trade engagement.

An informative and enriching presentation made by Mr Ji Wenhua, First Secretary, Commercial Division gave a fresh perspective to the areas of bilateral trade and investment between India and China.

The cultural show put together by the Embassy officials led by Dr Yili , presenting the Qipao was a testimony to the huge cultural repertoire that China has. It was followed by an intense demonstration of Tai Chi.
