Understanding Pain through Posture

On May 14, 2019, FICCI FLO Northeast chapter organised a program on “Understanding Pain through Posture”. Dr. Biprajit Das, Chief Consultant Physiotherapist at S M Polyclinic, Ulubari gave an illuminating lecture cum demonstration on the various sitting and standing postures that could trigger lower back pain and the measures to avoid these postures. This was followed by an interactive session with the audience wanting to know about their own problems related to pains.

Chairperson Dr. Srutimala Duara in her welcome address said, “FLO works for the uplift of women economically, organises health camps for the underprivileged. But our members too should be aware of their health and take care of their body to remain fit and healthy. Hence the program on health has been organised.”
