FICCI FLO NORTH-EAST ENROLLS WOMEN IN SKILLING PROGRAM

Under the national FLO women’s empowerment initiative, FICCI FLO North-East started it’s Skilling initiative by getting the first batch of underprivileged women to take the Tailoring and Beautician training at NSIC Bamunimaidan, Guwahati on 28th May 2018. FLO North-east Skilling committee head, Mitrani Kakoty and Senior Vice Chairperson, Srutimala Duara spoke to the girls about the importance of economic independence. They inspired and encouraged them to use this learning to earn a living after completion of the training. They assured the students that Ficci flo would continue to hold their hands until they were established.

A host of members, led by FLO North-east Chairperson, Sarita Sikaria, and Prabidita Bharati, immediate past Chairperson, were present at the inauguration of the skilling programme. Ficci Flo North-east were supported in their endeavor by MeiLing Pranic Healing Centre, Guwahati.
