USHA sewing school

A demand for a sewing and tailoring school was felt for quite sometime in Mirza which is about 40 km from Guwahati. On 20th October 2017 Ficci FLO North East Chapter  in consultation with Usha Internatinal set up a USHA Sewing school with 3 machines and 20 students.

A teacher have been appointed and at the end of a 3 months course, the students will be given certificates by USHA. Usha certificates go a long way in acquiring loans to set up business and enterprises.’

The programme was headed by Chapter Chairperson  Prabidita Bharati who was accompanied by few of the executive member  and past chairpersons.
