Skill Initiative: Nursing & Childcare Programme

FLO Lucknow Kanpur Chapter launched its first WE initiative in health care: ‘Maternity & Neonatal Care’ curated by Ritu Mathur and her team for the benefit of the girls of Mal Village.
With the consent of Mrs Gayatri ji Gram Pradhan of Mal block FLO was able to adopt the village and carry out skilling and development programs for the women of Mal. A 2 months long hands-on course in Maternity & Neonatal care has already been rolled out emphasizing on training of mother and newborns. Post this course the girls will attend practical training in hospitals and be ready for employment under the FLO banner for the first year.
