Change of guard ceremony

The COG – that defining event in every FLO calendar – saw the Ahmedabad chapter’s chairperson Roopa Patel hand over the baton amidst applause and anticipation to the incoming chairperson Pavani Bakeri Agarwal. The evening was made purposeful with the launch of the Advocacy & Legal Cell in the presence of Sushma Kankaria its Convenor by Hemantika Wahi an eminent litigator for the Govt. of Gujarat in the Supreme Court. Iconic Bollywood director-producer, Subhash Ghai addressed the members and guests on gender harmony and the need to learn Sanskrit in school. Women achievers from diverse fields like sports, entrepreneurship, performing arts, education etc. were awarded the FLOTUS trophies during the Sambhavaa awards ceremony which stood out for the life time achievement award going to Padmashri Renana Jhabvala. Mr. Keshav Kumar was the chief guest of the evening.
