Tree Plantation Drive: ‘Go Green Before Green Goes’

A panel discussion under the movement – ‘Go Green Before Green Goes’, an initiative led by the chapter to save the environment on June 5, 2016. Graced by the honorable mayor, Mr Dinesh Sharma as the chief guest, the panel included various environmentalists and speakers such as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Mr Umendra Sharma, Ex Director – Environment Dr. Yashpal Singh, Divisional Forest Officer Ms. Shradha Yadav, Environmental Consultant Ms. Pallavi Bishnoi and many more dignitaries.

The Chapter participated in “Tree Plantation Campaign”, an initiative run by the Government of U.P. on the occasion of Van Mahotsav at Sugamau, Jarhara, Kukrail, Lucknow on July 1, 2016. To show our support we took up the cause by planting about 300 saplings with the goal to boost forest reserves.
On July 11, 2016 , 6250 saplings were planted in the forest of Makhdumpur, area allotted by the government to help the environment and global warming, with the support of the U.P. government.
